General Agent / Represented Carrier Information
CNS' General Agent (GSA) progam allows airlines with no administrative offices or bank accounts established in the United States to be integrated into CASS-USA (Cargo Accounting Settlement System).
How the GSA program works
The new GSA signs up for the CNS General Agent/Represented Carrier Agreement and designates the new carrier. Upon authorization from the carrier, all services, administrative / accounting functions and billing transactions for the carrier are performed by the GSA with transparent operations from a customer's perspective.
GSA Benefits
Carriers participating in the GSA program have the same benefits as those with a direct relationship with CNS:
- Usage of the CASS-USA
- Inculsion in the Cargo Agency Program
- Training
- Air Waybill Stock Management
- Access to Cargo Statistics
- Direct involvement in CNS' Cargo Partnership Conference.
The GSA Program also enhances the value of CASS-USA by increasing the number of carriers, thereby reducing the overall costs to all participants.
