CASS-USA has become the air cargo industry’s first Internet- based billing and payment service. Following more than a year of design, development and testing by carriers and forwarders, this sophisticated system, known as Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment, is now in full service and available to the companies served by CNS. Replacing the mostly manual system with a common Internet platform for seamless financial transactions has been a giant step for the industry. The ability to receive and review invoices, settle disputes and arrange for payment over the Internet is already minimizing errors, reducing costs and time delays, and making cash flow more predictable. The impact on the ability of carriers and agents to work together as partners cannot be overstated. more |

This service has become highly-valued intelligence for carriers and forwarders seeking to understand key patterns and trends that have implications for their planning and decision-making. All CASS-USA participating carriers and CNS endorsed agents, forwarders and intermediaries are able to acquire critical information about the air cargo market arranged in a variety of easy to understand formats. The statistics are displayed in either standard or custom report formats using detailed data organized for clarity, meaning, and value. A participant is now able to use features developed in 2003 to conduct further analysis and produce additional reports. more |
