. . And So to PC’08

In a large sense, Partnership Conference ’08, which bows in at the PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in early May, is a continuation of last year’s highly successful PC ’07 in California.

In a brief farewell message in the final moments of the conference, I seized the occasion to outline for the audience CNS’ philosophy as an industry service organization, its proactive course of progress, and its expanding horizons as a strong and efficient linchpin in the airline-forwarder partnership. It is an authentic union of mutual dependencies.

Firmly in the promise and spirit of that message, and on the heels of PC ’07, CNS embarked on a coast-to-coast Road Show, staffed by CNS specialists. The message carried to hundreds of executive talent was simple and basic: Give CNS more than your cursory attention, and learn how you can utilize its menu of services as an effective business tool. This is the raison d’ètre for the existence of CNS.

The foregoing is prelude to the fact that the professional planners of PC ’08 purposefully designed the upcoming program as a complement to last year’s recommendations and as a probe—with the full participation of the conferees—into newly developing issues, potential perturbations, and, of course, existing opportunities in the marketplace.

Essentially, PC ’08 will encompass two days of speeches, dialogue, and panels, all focused on the many elements that make the wheels of the international air cargo industry turn.

Apart from the conference’s traditional golf tournament and dinner entertainment, the topics to come under discussion will, as the past 17 annual events have proved, provide a cornucopia of information that the enterprising participant can translate into profit.

How do we know this? Our exit polls and your direct communication have told us so.

From the start of the Partnership Conferences, CNS has harmonized the element of networking with the seriousness it merits. Our planners consider the enabling of the networking process—the expedient of one-on-one business palaver—a must. This entails attention to scheduling so that sufficient time during the life of the conference is accorded networkers without interruption.

PC ’08 is constructed to be a fruitful experience in an exceptional environment.

I look forward to greeting you personally at PC ’08.
